Here are the 1st set of photos from our Sagada trip.. This was in Banaue by the way, our driver took a detour (longer route if I may add) so we can see the famous rice terraces in Banaue.. I only see the terraces on postcards and at the back of the old 1000 and the new 20 Philippine peso bills so I’m really thankful that the weather was perfect that we were able to see the full beauty of the rice terraces.. We even met a local at the view point and is happy to get his photo taken..

w/ side trips in Banaue and Benguet..

Photo sets will follow soon..

Sagada is so far the best place I’ve been to within the Philippines.. That’s coming from someone who’s not nature-y type of lad.. The trip may be long and dizzy but it’s all worth it.. Gained new friends and experienced spelunking„ hiking„ trekking„ rock climbing„ waterfall climbing„ and many more.. Favorite part of the trip was spelunking in Sumaging cave„ very surreal.. 200 m. below the ground.. Really enjoyed screaming in the Echo Valley.. All in all„ the trip was the dog’s bullocks!! If I’ll ever go back„ I’ll try the hard level of spelunking.. :D

I’ll do a better job shooting and post-processing next time.. Still learning new tricks and techniques.. Also, I would like to thank my sister to the shots where I’m included.. :)

Trying to be productive while I’m bum so here’s a vector of me combined with textures from Cambodia and Thailand.. Search my past posts to see the photo sets from my trip there.. Got inspired to do this when i saw a post from Finn Harries’ tumblr site and from those gifs where they combine two videos like they’re overlayed.. I find it really cool and interesting and probably do this after every trip (hopefully)..

Did all of these in 1 hour!! Sister came home early from work and asked for a bonding (what better way than to do a shoot).. Wasn’t busy with my unemployed life so I said yes.. It was also a time for me to sharpen my skills shooting with artificial light and must I say that I still need to practice more.. Keeping my nose to the grindstone!!
Really enjoyed our session and got to practice my lighting skills (like i said earlier) and discovering new stuff.. :D
